June 21, 2009: We have a new neighbor on our street - Congratulations to Kyu and Helen Lee on their new daughter, born on June 11!

Our HOA meeting on June 11 went well, no real news to report, as everything is status-quo for the time being. Click HERE for a recap of the meeting. Hope everyone is finding some sort of "summer" within this season...bring it on! Loren has provided some information regarding wasp control and landscaping as it applies to his house at 5606. This may be useful for others. 

May 9, 2009: Just a reminder, our Homeowners Meeting will be in exactly one month - June 11, 6:30PM - at 5610 on the deck, weather permitting. Hope to see everyone there, and meet the neighbors.

Mar. 27, 2009: Rico Landscaping has sent me a quote for weekly maintenance on the entire street. Here is the quote outlining the services they provide. It amounts to everyone on our street paying around $50 per week ($200 per month) for maintenance and services as shown in the quote. Having one contractor do all of our homes at one time will definitely alleviate the congestion that we experience now. I can tell you I have had Rico for several years and they have always done a great job.

Mar. 17, 2009: Please welcome Ali and Eda to the neighborhood, in 5602. This is their first house and, well, they're going to find out how nice it is to own...

5606 has just entered the market. Here is a link to the property on the Coldwell Banker website. With landscapers, I have contacted Perricone and Rico and will have quotes for each individual home site soon. 

Feb. 9, 2009: I just received this item regarding WILDLIFE from the village. Please read it and if you're interested, you might want to attend the forum. I think they might be addressing the excessive deer foraging that most of us are experiencing.

Feb. 8, 2009: No more snow...PLEASE. I just paid the January SNOW REMOVAL bill, and hopefully we're seeing the end of the white stuff. And,very soon we will have new neighbors - stay tuned.

Jan. 29, 2009: For your information, I received this bulletin from the village. Check it out, seems the cold weather has forced some people to do crazy things.

Jan, 1, 2009: Here is the December SNOW REMOVAL invoice - we must have set a record for that white stuff. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd like to suggest a tentative date for our homeowners meeting: Homeowners meeting will be Thursday, June 11 at 6:30PM. Please mark your calendar now and hopefully we'll all be able to attend. I am also making a few changes that you will see on the balance sheet: I am adding hyperlinks so you can see the detailed invoices on specific line items. This takes a bit more time on my part, but it makes things better in the long run as all relative paperwork is easily accessed. I'm a real sucker for this kind of website-based information sharing.
